1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Life with my husband and daughter makes me smile. As a heart disease survivor and forensic pathologist, I know that each day with my family is a gift and every moment an opportunity for adventure. Whether we are together at our studio or exploring a new park every weekend, we love the opportunity to laugh and smile.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
It’s typically dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant and a movie. My wonderful husband lets me pick the movie! Since I have the theater palate of a 14-year-old-boy, it’s an action movie often involving someone in either tights, holding a sword, or saving the galaxy.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
As an artist, I love coloring outside the lines and making my own rules. I pound out my frustrations with a hammer. I smooth each curve in clay. I bend metal to the shape of my will. I imagine, design, and turn thought into something tangible. I create art. My favorite piece of art is a family effort that combined the skills of my husband, my daughter, and me into an expression of love.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Whether I’m presenting at an international pathology meeting, accompanying my husband at one of his gallery openings, testifying in court, traveling the globe, or playing with my daughter at the park, you will find me in something simple, elegant, practical, and timeless.
